Alex Livinalli
Despite being a spinoff of the first film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a continuation of the franchise and will feature a new cast. Sadly, the sequel will not feature Chadwick Boseman, who passed away from colon cancer in 2020. Boseman’s most recent role was as King T’Challa in Avengers: Infinity War. The sequel will be directed by Ryan Coogler, who also directed the first two movies.
Livinalli’s film career started in 2008 with an indie thriller called The Next Hit, which featured several rappers. After that, he starred in several films including Graceland and Queen of the South. He also appeared in American Horror Story and the Netflix series Ozark. The sequel to the popular film will premiere in November 2022.
Daniel Kaluya
Despite being the leading man in the last Black Panther film, Daniel Kaluuya won’t be returning for the sequel. The actor’s scheduling conflicts have caused him to withdraw from the film. However, he will continue the franchise in a different role in a Jordan Peele thriller titled Nope. Kaluuya previously played the character W’Kabi, the best friend and confidant of the titular superhero, T’Challa.
Kaluuya has already said that he’s disappointed not to be part of the sequel. The actor was recently asked about the new Black Panther movie teaser. He joked that he doesn’t know if it’s part of the MCU or not. He also says that he’ll be playing an antagonist in the film. Meanwhile, I May Destroy You creator Michaela Coel has signed on for an undisclosed role. The new Black Panther movie is expected to be released in November 2022.
